Speed City’s Star RacerTM supercharger belts help NHRA Top Fuel teams run their fastest times!
Saturday marked the end of Nitro Spring Training and the Top Fuel teams are dialed in for the start of the 2017 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. Some impressive numbers got laid down at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park. Speed City would like to congratulate Leah Pritchett with the quickest unofficial pass in NHRA history going 3.654 at a blistering 331.85 mph, Steve Torrence with the second fastest time running 3.691, Brittany Force with a 3.695 and Doug Kalitta who ran 3.697. Leah and Doug both run the Star RacerTM belts. In Funny Car, Speed City congratulates Courtney Force running 3.804 at 333.33 mph, unofficially the quickest run in Funny Car history, defending World Champion Ron Capps going 3.854 in the second spot, 16-time world champion John Force with the third fastest time of 3.856 along with Robert Hight running 3.859. All four of these Top Fuel Funny Car drivers run the Star RacerTM belt. The Star RacerTM supercharger belt is helping these teams achieve these fast runs and saving them money. The Star RacerTM belts last 3 to 5 runs versus the competitors that are typically single use. Star RacerTM supercharger belts are also available for Top Alcohol, Tractor Pull, Drag Boat and any other supercharger driven application. The first event of the 2017 Mello Yello Drag Racing series begins February 9-12 with the Circle K NHRA Winternationals at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona. Tune in to FS1 at 7 p.m. EST on Friday, live on Saturday at 1 p.m. EST for qualifying and FOX Sports at 4 p.m. EST on Sunday for the Finals.
